Research and production practice show that high-pressure water jet cleaning technology is a reliable, economical and practical cleaning technology. Compared with chemical cleaning, high-pressure water jet cleaning technology has the following advantages.
(1) Good cleaning quality When high-pressure water jets clean the inner holes of pipes and heat exchangers, they can completely remove all the scale and obstructions in the pipes, and the metal body can be seen. High-pressure water jets with infinite energy and moving at supersonic speeds can completely destroy hard scale and obstructions, but have no damaging effect on metals. At the same time, because the pressure of high-pressure water is lower than the compressive strength grade of metal or reinforced concrete, high-pressure water jet cleaning will not damage the cleaned substrate.
(2) Fast cleaning speed Due to the composite crushing effects of water jets such as flushing, wedge splitting, shearing, and grinding, the scale can be quickly broken and dropped, which is several to dozens of times faster than the cleaning speed of traditional chemical methods, sandblasting methods, simple mechanical and manual methods. At the same time, parts cleaned with high-pressure water jets do not need secondary cleaning; while after chemical cleaning, the chemical agents on the surface need to be cleaned with clean water.
(3) No environmental pollution Because high-pressure water jet cleaning uses clean water as the medium, water jet cleaning does not produce a lot of dust like sandblasting and simple mechanical cleaning, polluting the atmospheric environment and harming human health; nor does it produce a lot of waste liquid like some chemical cleaning that pollutes rivers, soil and water quality. Water jets with clean water as the medium are odorless, tasteless and non-toxic. After the jet is atomized, it can also reduce the air dust concentration in the working area to below the national safety standards, so it will not cause any pollution. In addition, the recovery of high-pressure water jet cleaning fluid is relatively simple to achieve technically.
(4) Wide range of applications High-pressure water jet cleaning can clean parts with complex shapes and structures, and can be cleaned in narrow and cluttered spaces and poor operating environments. There are no special requirements for equipment materials, properties, shapes and types of scale, only direct injection, so it is widely used.
(5) Easy to mechanize and automate.
(6) Energy saving, water saving, low cleaning cost The medium used by high-pressure water jet is tap water, which is simple and widely available. During the cleaning process, due to its strong energy, it can be cleaned without adding any fillers or detergents, so the cleaning cost is low, only about 1/3 of chemical cleaning. Secondly, the water jet cleaning method is different from the fire-fighting water cannon. It is a fine jet spray. The nozzle diameter used is only 0.5-2.5mm, so the water consumption is small, and the power used is 37-90kw, so it is a water-saving and energy-saving equipment.
